National Ultralight Inc.
Effective immediately all Challengers sold in Canada will be priced in Canadian Dollars rather than US Dollars. The objective is to dramatically lessen the impact of the loonie's drop since the autumn of 2014 when oil prices fell sharply. Key to the new fixed Canadian Dollar prices is a floating discount which adjusts the factory's US Dollar prices as the loonie rises and falls.
The effect is to make currency conversions at the same interbank exchange rate of 88 cents as existed prior to the drop in the loonie. Compare this to the recent low of 68 cents! This pricing structure stabilizes the price in Canadian Dollars and makes Challengers substantially cheaper in Canada than they would be if purchased in the United States or anywhere else in the world.
Challenger quick-build kits can be acquired as a complete package (with everything needed to go flying except paint) or to spread out cash flow they may be purchased as up to four subkits (tail, wings, fuselage, engine). There is no additional charge for the quick-build versions. Builder assistance and professional assembly services are available.
