The 582 engine, 2.6-1 reduction drive and Warp prop combination are well suited to amphibious float operations with the light weight, big wing Challenger.

The silver-coloured strips on the leading edge of the prop are solid nickel
which protects the carbon fibre blades from erosion by water drops .
